On behalf of the Grant family, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the many people who gave their support and care, sympathy cards, food, phone calls, emails and memorial donations in our time of grief and loss of Roy. Our thanks to Rev. Peter MacDonald, the choir, organist, readers, pallbearers and to David a nephew for his eulogy and special memories of Roy. The reception following the service was much appreciated. To the V.O.N. and Palliative care staff, we owe a great deal, as it was because of their competent help, that Roy was able to die at home as he wished. We are grateful to the caregivers who assisted throughout his illness. A special thank you to Marc who helped Roy and all of us through his journey. His weekly visits from New Brunswick were a highlight which he cherished. You will keep Roy’s memory alive if you honour his wish to plant a tree to remember a strong, private gentleman.
