Lynch, B. Nordean, 85, of Truro and formerly of Upper North River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care Truro. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Mary (Sellers) Sandmo. Nordean was a great lover of animals, especially cats. She loved to read, especially about Alternative Health, and she also enjoyed sewing and refinishing furniture. She is survived by her husband, Allan; daughters, Lynda (Melvin) Cousens, Salmon River, Lauren (David) Phillips, Bible Hill, Crystal (David) DesJardins, Lower Truro; grandchildren, Kristopher, Shannon, Nicholas; great grandchildren, Rania, Zayed, Lucas; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Saturday, May 24, in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. A private family graveside service and interment will be held 3:15pm Sunday, May 25, in the Earltown Village Cemetery with Rev. John Parsons officiating. Family flowers only.
