Kelly Jean Stewart
Stewart, Kelly Jean – 37, of Bible Hill passed away unexpectedly May 22, 2014 at QEII Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax, surrounded by her family. She was born in Truro and was the daughter of Donald Cail (Linda), Truro and Sylvia Cail (Dave), Bible Hill. Kelly was a valuable employee at Truro Elementary School as an educational assistant. Kelly loved her students and she was adored by them and her co-workers. She had a strong passion for children with autism. Her interests included scrapbooking and making memento’s for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by many friends and especially her weekend “gang”. She is survived by her loving husband, Dana; her precious children, Dillan and Raquel; sisters, Shelley (Billy) O’Brien, Pleasant Valley, Amanda (Steve) McCabe, Debert, Jennifer (Chris) Fisher, Truro; sister-in-law, Marina MacKenzie, Truro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carson and Glenda Stewart, Truro; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Mariah, Myles, Mason, Molly, Evan, Olivia and Kayla. She was predeceased by her special brother-in-law, Grant “Pumpkin” MacKenzie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28 from 6-9 pm with a celebration of life on Thursday, May 29 at 11 am, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund for the children, Dillan and Raquel for future educational purposes.
