Dorothy Cecelia Pitts, age 86 of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away May 24, 2014 in the Villa.
Born in Kenora, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Annie (Burkinshaw) Pitts.
Dorothy had been a resident of New Glasgow for the past 75 years. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow.
Dorothy was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret E. Delaney.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at Dorothy’s request. A committal service will be held in the Lorne St. Cemetery, New Glasgow at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Keith Humphrey officiating.
No flowers by request. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
