Passed peacefully away at Saint Luke's Homes on Friday, May 23, 2014, Raymond Eli Balsom Jr., age 63 years. Left to mourn his wife, Colleen (nee Mosher) of Corner Brook; his parents Raymond M. and Joan Balsom, Mount Pearl; brother Sherman of Corner Brook; sister Denise Dinn (Joseph) of Chamberlains; nephews: Ryan Dinn (Crystal), Jordan Dinn (Lacey), and Denis Balsom; as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, May 24, from 7-9pm, and on Sunday, May 25, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue, on Monday, May 26, 2014, at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road Columbarium.
