SPURRELL, ROY EDWARD - It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Edward Spurrell of Whites Cove, NB announce his sudden passing at the MICU Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB, on May 22nd, 2014 at the age of 64. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine (Mills); his daughters, Tanja Mallery (Mike), Leshelle, Carol Ann Mercer (Matt) and one son, Peter Watson (Joanne Verrier). He was the proud Poppy of Cassidy, Caitlynn, and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother, John; sister, Diane Morey; in-laws (Pierce, Susan, Kay, Shirley and Brian), cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Ed was born in Montreal Quebec in 1949, graduated Verdun High School in 1967 and immediately joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He retired a Warrant Officer in 1995 in the refrigeration trade. He continued his career with the Delta Hotel Fredericton.
