MEUNIER, LEOLA - Leola Meunier, 61, of Irishtown, passed away on Sunday May 25, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on August 9, 1952 in Lachine, QC, she was the daughter of the late Telex and Beulah (Bannister) Léger. She was a self-employed massage therapist. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Clifford “Sonny”; two children: Ian (Melissa) of Irishtown and Angela (Anthony Béchamp) of Saint-Antoine; three grandchildren: Adam, Morgan and Dustin; one sister, Carole Bourque (Frank) of Irishtown; one brother, Telex Jr. of Irishtown; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
According to her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Route 115, Irishtown on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will be in parish cemetery. In memory of Leola, a contribution to the N.B. Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
