(August 6, 1914 – December 25, 2008) — Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Hospital on Thursday, December 25, 2008, Triffie Crocker of Heart’s Delight, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Annie Burton, husband, Chesley Crocker, three brothers and four sisters. Leaving to mourn with precious memories her children; Phyllis (Ed) Chubbs, Kinkarden, Ontario; Lorna (John) Mulrooney, Bolton, Ontario; Ross (Diane), St. John’s; Faye (Randy) Sooley, Heart’s Delight. She will also be lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers (Fred and Berkley Burton), as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethel United Church in Heart’s Delight on Saturday, December 27th from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral. The funeral service will be held from Bethel United Church Monday, December 29th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Bethel United Church Cemetery.
