(1942 - 2008). Passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 66 years. Predeceased by his mother, Mary Fifield (1985). Left to mourn are his wife Doris (nee Williams), his daughters Nikki Langley (Bill) and Colleen Delaney (Allen); sons Barry (Shelly) and Chad; grandchildren Emily, Leighann, Katie, Gracie, Matthew, Morgan, Josh and Vicki. Also leaving to mourn: Uncle James Sullivan and family; sisters-in-law Winnie St. Croix (Bill), Marg Godden (Bob), Betty Frampton (Joe), Kathleen Williams, June Butler and Joan Williams; brothers-in-law Ambrose Williams (Mary), Aiden Williams (Madeline), all of the Goulds and Andy Williams in Ottawa; special friends Myna & Des Mulrooney, Edwena Kavanagh, Bill and Penny Walsh and a large number of relatives and friends. Bernie will rest at Dunphy's Funeral Home in Holyrood on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Holy Cross Church in Holyrood on Thursday, March 20 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's name can be made to a charity of your choice.
