At Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, May 26, 2014, of Ernest Wayne Crossman of Central Bedeque. Born in Summerside on May 5, 1948, son of the late Horace and Janie (Pye) Crossman. Husband of Merilla (Woodside) Crossman. Father of Elaine (Chris) Wood, Joy (Morgan) Murphy, and Mike Crossman (Megan Champion). Grandfather of Liam and Shay Wood, Jessica and Patrick Murphy, Kaitlyn, Gina, Josie, Devon and Alexander Crossman, and Zayden Champion. Brother to Judy (James) McCormick, Brian (Sue) Crossman, and Donna MacKay (Paul Gallant). Brother-in-law of Marjorie (David) Stewart, Doris Campbell, Preston (Louise) Woodside and Betty Doucette. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m., immediately followed by the funeral in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m. Interment in the Central Bedeque Baptist Cemetery.
