TRENTON – Charles Elliot Clyburn, age 97, of the Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Manor.
Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late Simon and Emma Mae (Myers) Clyburn.
He lived in Riverton for several years before moving to Porter St., Trenton. He loved and played the harmonica. He enjoyed his daily walks.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by sisters: Gladys Corbin, Elizabeth Ryan, Katherine Hafey, Christina Stewart, Alice, Margaret and Maude; brothers, Rex and George.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of the Nazarene, Trenton, with Rev. Leon Teal officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Glen Haven Manor Recreation Fund.
