1914 - 2014: Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Homes, St. John's on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the milestone age of 100 years. Predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Stephen and Elizabeth Boone of Bareneed; his loving wife Evelyn Boone (nee Smith), his sister Emmie Hatcher and his nephew Father Roy Hatcher. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are his nieces: Marilyn (Keith) Thistle and Dianne (Freeman) Bolt; nephews: Clifton (Hannah) Hatcher, Calvin (Claudine) Smith and Willis (Janice) Smith, along with a large circle of great-nieces and nephews. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation to take place on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2 PM - 4 PM and 7 PM - 9 PM; Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 10 AM - 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Bareneed on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2 PM followed by interment at St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Bareneed. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to St. Mark's Anglican Church, Bareneed.
