Passed peacefully away on May 27, 2014 at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL. Dora is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Don, parents Lucy and Charlie. Mourning, but with beautifully warm and happy memories are her children: Paul (Colleen) and Carla (Chris); grandchildren, Simon, Caylee, Frances and Cate; sisters: Margie, Laura, Nellie; brothers: Eli (Evelyn), Lando (Isabel) & very special and loyal friends Wavey and Gerald Ridgely. Dora was kind-hearted and selfless, patient and kind, elegant and fun-loving, but above all else she was a nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. If the world had been her household it would know nothing of anger, hunger, hatred or racism, and all the little creatures would have happy homes. We wish to express deep gratitude to the staff at North Haven Manor for the comfort and care they provided Mom over the last several months. In lieu of flowers Mom would appreciate donations to the SPCA. We will miss you Mom.
