Passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, David G. Pike in his 80th year. Leaving to mourn his wife Phyllis (Reid); son Chris (Anita); daughters: Holly (Marc Thackray), Cathy (Neil Phillips), Wendy (Ron Harmer); grandchildren: David Phillips (Emily Follett), Caryn Phillips (Chris Massie), Colin Pike-Thackray (Kelly Abbott), Clare Malone, Philip Malone (and their father Alan Malone), Matthew Pike, Caroline Pike and Samantha Harmer. Also leaving to mourn sister Carolyn (Bill Rompkey); sisters-in-law Fern Stevenson, Glenda (Eugene Smith); brother-in-law Jim Reid (Louise); also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and then on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-8pm. A reception for family and friends will be held at Barrett's Reception Center on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 2-4pm. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (earmarked for Newfoundland and Labrador projects) or The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.
