BEERS, ARNOLD E. - Arnold E. Beers, 81, of Riverview, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Born in Targetville, he was the son of the late George and Florence (McCleary) Beers. Arnold was a former truck driver for H.E. Fisher & Sons and later for Atlantic Wholesalers and retired as Driver Dispatcher for Atlantic Wholesalers. He was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church and a former bus driver for the #101 Moncton Air Cadets. He enjoyed farming, gardening, socializing with his friends and spending precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Arnold will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Rita Florence (LeBlanc) Beers; his children, Kathy Moses (Steven), Michael, Peter (Joanne), Stephen (Val), Nancy Urquhart (Allen) and Robert (Lorraine); daughter-in-law, Marion Forsythe Beers (David); precious grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob), Melissa (Adam), Christopher (Nathalie), Kyle, Nadia, Christopher, Alexander, Makhaila, Natasha and George; cherished great grandchildren, Samuel, Brenden, Jasper, Alexis and Wyatt; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, David; brother, Seymour; sisters, Doris, Dorothy, Helen and Violet.
