BANNISTER, PHYLLIS - 1933 - 2014 - Phyllis Bannister, passed away peacefully at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on May 31, 2014, at the age of 81. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Bernice Smith. Phyllis is survived by daughters; Jo-Anne of Dartmouth, Arline of Bedford, sons; Douglas (Valerie) of Moncton, Daniel (Donna) of Salisbury, brothers; David, and Bruce Smith. She will also be missed by her grandchildren; Amanda (Chris), Jessica, Christina, Brandon, Matthew, Michael, and great-grandchildren; Mason, Rylan, and Colby as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Phyllis was predeceased by her siblings Bill Smith, Shirley Delong, and Bob Smith. The family would like to thank the Staff at the Spencer Home for their loving care.
A celebration of Phyllis’s Life will be held in the Garden View Reception Room at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
