MacCORMACK (Chisholm), Christina Robina "Beanie" – 95, Truro. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Robina "Beanie" MacCormack. Beanie passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Wynn Park Villa, Truro. Beanie worked as a CNA at Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow from 1970 to 1983. She also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941 to 1943 and was stationed at Rockcliffe Air Base, Ottawa, Ontario. Beanie is survived by her daughter, Joyce Silke (nee Chisholm) and son-in-law, Gerry Silke, Ancaster, Ontario; grandchildren, Karen O'Neill, Owen Sound, Ontario; Scott Silke, Burlington, Ontario; great grandchildren, Kyle and Kristen O'Neill and Nathan and Andrew Silke. A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Her final resting place will be at the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Alma. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at Wynn Park Villa for the wonderful loving care during her stay at the Villa.
