Alexandros (Aleco) Ermes Stavrou
March 19, 1994 - May 29, 2014

It is with great sadness that the family of Alexandros Ermes Stavrou announce his untimely passing. Alexandros passed away on May 29, 2014 at the age of 20. Born on March 19, 1994 in Prince Albert, Aleco attended W.F.A. Turgeon (K-6), St. Frances / St. Mary’s (7-9), and graduated from Carlton Comprehensive High School in 2013. Alexandros enjoyed the company of his family and friends, especially his nephew, Chrysandros. Playing soccer and spending time up at the lake were his favorite pastimes. He will be deeply missed by his parents George (Natassa) and Michele (Rob); siblings Stavros, Kyriakos, Anastasia and Costantinos; in-laws Kelcy, Tim; nephew Chrysandros; grandfathers Walter Kowal and Stavros Kyriakou; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Maria Stavrou and grandmother Grace Kowal. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant The Very Reverend Maurice Fiolleau. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
