Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, Dec. 24th, 2008 at home with his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer, James Francis Rogers, age 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joan; children Chris (Donna), Philip, Denise (Brian) and Kenneth (Verna); sister Eleanor (Toby); brothers John (Madonna) and Robert (Lilly); brothers-in-law Noel Kelly (Pat) and Gordon Kelly; as well as eight grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday Dec. 28th, 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, Dec. 29th at 10 a.m. from St. Paul’s Church, Newfoundland Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
