Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on June 2nd, Frank Newhook, age 86 of Norman's Cove. Predeceased by his brothers Jack, Ernest & Bill; Grandson Chad David Smith and niece Phoebe Irene. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Gladys; Siblings Bessie, Gladys & Clarence; Children Terry (Linda), Beulah (David), Lydia (David), Herbert (Eileen), Vida (Larry), Roy (Denise), Paula (Stan); Grandchildren Debbie (Troy), Brad (Lea), Terry Jr., Corey (Natalie), Heather (Brian), Joe (Lacey), Kimberley, Andrew (Kayla), Melissa, Tiffany, Cassie, Jordan, 5 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the 7 East nursing staff at St. Clare's Hospital for their special care and hard work during his stay.

Visitation at the Church of the Good Sheppard in Norman's Cove on Tuesday, June 3rd from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday, June 4th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lung Association.
