It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Doreen Hirsch, of Grove Street, Sydney, on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Morrison) MacLean.
She was very artistic, an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing and was a huge Star Trek fan. Feeding blue jays and other birds in the neighbourhood gave her great pleasure, and most of all, Linda loved her two cats, Blue and Brown, who will forever be in all our hearts.
Surviving are her loving husband, Lionel; daughter, Shelby (Colin McCulloch), Calgary, AB; son, Bret (Christa MacDonald), Sydney; and brother, David (Ann), Sydney.
Linda was predeceased by her daughter, Rachel.
Funeral service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday 1 p.m., with Rabbi David Ellis officiating. Interment in the Hebrew Cemetery.
