Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2014 Bessie Amelia Goodyear age 85 years of Deadman’s Bay. Predeceased by her parents William and Virtue Goodyear; brothers Stephen, Clement, Samuel, Elmore, Harold, George and Boyd; sisters Nellie and Pearl; and nieces Isabel and Linda. Left with fond and loving memories are her sisters-in-law Myra Goodyear(Stephen) and Yvonne Goodyear(George); brother-in-law Raymond Butt(Pearl); nieces Sharon(Jim Skinner), Mary(Ross Stokes) and Clarice(Scott Sheppard); nephews Norman Goodyear, Derrick Vincent(Michelle), Bill Vincent(Marie), Richard Butt(Maxine), Peter Butt(Janice), Rick Goodyear, Shawn Goodyear(Melissa), Derrick Butt(Bonnie) and John Burton; home support worker (Janice Chaulk); and other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at The United Church, Deadman’s Bay on Sunday, June 1, 2014 with Rev. Desmond Jagger-Parsons officiating. Interment followed at The Goodyear Cemetery, Deadman’s Bay.
