LUMSDEN, IAN GORDON - Peacefully at home in Fredericton with his immediate family at his side on Thursday, June 5th, in his 69th year. Loving husband of Katherine (Carson) and loving father of Craig. Dear brother of the late Susan Lumsden and of Andrew (Jane) and dear brother in law of Suzanne (Steve), Connie, Barbara (Al) and Dawn (Emery). Affectionate and entertaining uncle to Catherine, Andrew, Thomas, Bobbie, Jillian, Laura, Sydney and Jackie. Ian was the Executive Director of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery for many years, a Fellow of the Canadian Museums Association and prominent figure in the worlds of Maritime and Canadian Art.
Visitation at McAdam’s Funeral Home, Tuesday June 10th from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at Christ Church Cathedral on June 11th at 2 p.m. followed by a reception at Gallery 78 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. K.
