An amazing, loving and kind lady, passed away unexpectedly at the Health Sciences Centre on June 5, 2014, in her 83rd year. Formerly of Grates Cove. Predeceased by her son Ralph; granddaughter Trina Lynn; parents Laura & Abel Cooper; sisters: infant Gertrude, Ethel, Gertrude, Susannah, and Bertha; brothers: Absalom, Albert, Edwin, and Allan; and nephew Eddie. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband Dolph of 63 years; her two daughters: Suzanne Furlong and Barbara Newhook; her grandchildren; Amanda, Jordon, and Amy; sister Beatrice Foster; also her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, June 8th, and Monday, June 9th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will take place at First United Church, Park Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, June 10th, at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
