It is with unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Ryan Mitchell Fraser.
Ryan will be forever remembered by his heartbroken family as the adorable little boy who grew into the quiet young man with the shy, knowing smile. Although quiet in nature, one look from his dark, expressive eyes spoke volumes.
Born in North Sydney on May 30, 1989, Ryan was the son of Sherrie Lynn Fraser and the late Bernard Blinkhorn.
Also left to mourn the loss of Ryan are his brothers Adam and Elias, and his much adored daughter Alanna, who was the light of his life. Ryan is also survived by his very special Poppy, Dwight Fraser; his loving aunt Linda (Eldon) Snow; uncle John (Sherry) Fraser; aunt Kelly (Brian) Fraser; cousins Nichole, Amanda, Sam, Eldon Aaron, Nancy Snow, Faith Renee, and Jack Fraser; as well as his grandfather Bernard Blinkhorn, and his wife Mary Jane.
Ryan will reunite in Heaven with his much loved Nanny, Molly Fraser, and his sweet baby cousin Brielle. He was also predeceased by his great-grandparents John and Edythe Fraser, Billy and Anastasia MacNamara, and his grandmother Catherine Capstick.
Visitation for Ryan Fraser will be held in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines, on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Thomas John officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery. A reception will take place in the parish hall, following the service.
