SHAW, LEONA C. - The death of Leona C. Shaw of Fredericton and formerly of Florenceville occurred on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born March 13, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret (MacDonald) Stephenson. She was also predeceased by her husband John Shaw, brother Gilbert Stephenson, sister Jean Lunn and nephew Richard Lunn. Leona is survived by her daughter Maureen MacLean (Peter); grandchildren Ryan MacLean (Aimee) and Julie MacLean; nephews and nieces Albert Lunn (Joyce), Wayne Lunn (Linda), Beverly Lunn, Donna Lunn, Lisa DeMerchant (Ryan), Carl Lunn, Kevin Fidgen and Jeffrey Fidgen, Matthew Lunn (Margo) and Andrew Lunn.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 2 pm from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors Chapel. Rev. Susan Estabrooks and Pastor Larry Matthews will be officiating. Interment in the Stephenson Cemetery, Connell, NB.
