BASTARACHE, PACITA - Pacita Bastarache, 73, of Indian Mountain, passed away on Monday June 9, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on November 29, 1940 in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Francisca (Tubilaq) Japinan. She is survived by two children: Gonzuela and Glenn; eight step-children: Sherman, Shane, Deryl, Chad, Rhonda, Jeannette, Carol and Jean; five grandchildren: Alicia, Tiffany, Joshua, Genevieve and Garrett; one great-granddaughter, Hailey; nine sisters and brothers: Rosella, Port, Petenciana, Cantalisia, Maria, Pena, Rosela, Juan and Jonor. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, and one step-son, Ronny.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9 am until time of funeral (9:40). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Route 115, Irishtown, on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10 am.
