The death occurred, at his late residence, on Monday, June 9, 2014, of Preston MacDonald of Lower Bedeque, aged 82 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Walter and Harriet (Reeves) MacDonald. Survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Newcomb) MacDonald; sons Hal (Sue), Brian (Eleanor); daughters Kim (Richard) Greenleaf, Kristen (Colin) Callbeck; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson Todd Greenleaf. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations to Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #15, Bedeque, or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Members of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #15, Bedeque, will hold a Masonic Memorial Service, at the funeral home, Wednesday evening at 7:45 p.m.
