Peacefully, at Riverview Manor, of Hector Matheson, age 83, occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, with family by his side.
Born January 10, 1931, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Annie (MacKinnon) Matheson.
Hector is survived by his brothers and sisters, Gordon Matheson, Marjorie (Donnie) Munro, John (Lois) Matheson, Margaret Carmichael, Malcolm (Vaunda) Matheson; brothers-in-law, Irving MacKay, Neil Brydon; sisters-in-law, Emily Matheson, Mary Matheson and Hazel MacLeod; several nieces and nephews.
Hector was predeceased by brothers, Earl, George, Lloyd; sisters, Mary Brydon, Catherine MacKay, Christine Matheson; and brother-in-law, Donnie Carmichael.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014, from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the Valleyfield Cemetery. Due to allergies, please refrain from wearing any scented products.
