It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Ann Elizabeth Moulins. Ann passed very peacefully, surrounded by loving family, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Monday, June 9, 2014.
Born in D’Escousse, Ann was the daughter of the late John and Ida Mae (Meunier) Ranson.
Ann is survived by her children, Lola (Ron) MacEachern, John (Maureen) Moulins and Michael Moulins; grandchildren, Trina, Tannis, Chris and Brent; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Daniel, Brock and Chloè. She will be fondly remember by her neighbour, Johnny Balcom; caregiver, Mary McLaughlin; bingo buddies; family pet, Princess; and many other friends.
Ann was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Louis Desire Moulins and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
There will be no visitation by request. A funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 12 at Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. Douglas Murphy officiating. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to palliative care at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
