May 18, 1920 - June 10, 2014: Passed peacefully away with her family by her side at Agnes Pratt Home on June 10th, 2014, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her husband John; parents Michael and Catherine Traverse; brothers and sisters Gertrude (Aloysius) Traverse, Mike (Marg) Traverse, Pete (Ann) Traverse, Tom Traverse, son-in-law Rick Pearce. Left to celebrate her life are her children Joan (Frank Dixon), Shirley (Allan Wheeldon), Betty (Ian Burgess), Alex (Marilyn), Leonard (Dianne), Judy (Tom Peddle), Bill (Sharon), Joyce Pearce, Debbie (Tony Cooper), sister-in-law Lenie Traverse. Grandchildren: Paul (Jodi), Chris (Stephanie) and Andrew Dixon; John, Tom (Brenda), Eddy and Dannielle Traverse; Greg (Julie) and Lesley Burgess, Laura (Ryan) Harnett; Cheryl and Steve Traverse; Michael (Leah) and David (Stephanie) Traverse; Guy, Keith (Melissa) and Nick (Colleen) Peddle; Jeff (Jennifer), Robyn (Mark) and Meghan Traverse; Rick (Sarah), Jay (Nancy) and Leah (Scott) Pearce; Sam and Katee Cooper. Great grandchildren: Alexander, Chris, Daniel, Allicks, Ronan, Sydni, Gavin, Griffin, Maria, Braydon, Colby, Olivia, Gabriel, Sarah, Hailey, Emily, Owen, Jack, Ella. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends from Ferndale, Placentia Bay. Many thanks and appreciation to the staff of Southview, Agnes Pratt Home and the staff at Cambridge Estates. Visitation will be held Caul`s Funeral Home 84 LeMarchant Road on Tuesday June 10 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday June 11 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Patrick's Parish on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
