Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and friends, on June 9, 2014, Charles Stanley, age 87 years. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Julia; brothers: Howard, Wallace, and Percy; and sister Dora Tucker. He will be sadly missed by his long-time partner, Theresa Holland, and his extended family of Hollands who loved Charlie as their own. Also leaving to mourn, his brother David (Vicki); sister Edith Williams (Bernard); as well as many friends who share great memories of music and dancing at the Legion. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, June 11, from 7pm-9pm and Thursday, June 12, from 2pm- 6pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
