It is with great sadness that the families of Ruby Thelma Anderson (nee Ball) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her eight sons; Ronald (Linda) of ON, Wayne, Darryl, Brian (Paulette), all of Deer Lake, NL, Earl (Susan) of ON, Chris (Ann) and Shawn, both of Deer Lake, NL and Kent (Dana) of St. John's, NL; her 20 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and her great-great- grandson, Travis Anderson, her brother, Lewis (Margie) Ball; her sisters: Beryl Earle, Evelyn (Steve Gilley), Edna Manuel and Enid Burridge; her sister-in- law, Ruth Ball. She was predeceased by her daughter, Iris Anderson; her ­parents, Stewart & Dulcie Ball; brothers: Raymond (Doris), Lawrence (Mary), Otto (Annie), Hedley and Clarence (Daisy); her sister, Phyllis (Harry Seaward); her brothers-in-law: Doug, Gideon and Roy; and also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL on Thursday, June 12th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 13th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Bennett’s Ave., Deer Lake, NL, with Pastor George Coles and Pastor Tyrone Ball officiating.
