It is with great sadness that the family of the late MICHAEL HANRAHAN of Little Bay announces his passing at his residence in Little Bay, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons, James (Ruth) of Little Bay and Edward Joseph (Julie) of Dawson Creek, BC; Daughters, Susie Hanrahan of Little Bay, Imelda (Phonse Murphy) of Little Bay and Darlene (Geoff Chafe) of St. John’s ; Daughter-in-law, Patsy Hanrahan of St. John’s; 7 Grandchildren, Wayne (Francie), Conrad (Rosie), Jeremy (Tracey), Donny, Mark, Samantha & Stefan; 9 Great-Grandchildren, Averie, Allie, Zoe, Kristopher, Jenna, Koden, Decklen, Connor & Peyton; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Theresa; Son, Adrian; Parents, Joseph & Elizabeth; Daughter-in-law, Joan Hanrahan; 3 sisters & 6 brothers.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m., from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. In Michael’s memory donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
