Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on June 12, 2014, her 91st birthday, Patricia M. Dawson of Bay Roberts, formerly of Argentia, NL. Predeceased by her parents Mary (Smith) and Patrick Hunt, Argentia, her husband Ronald S. Dawson (1990) and infant daughter Christine (1954), Bay Roberts, sisters: Bride Wyse, Eileen Houilhan and Jane Emberton; brothers: Edmund, Michael and Frank. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are her thirteen children: Edmund (Marilyn Jones), John (Geraldine Quigley - dec), Catherine/Kit (Leo Lewis), Eileen (Wayne Gamberg), Mary (John Barry), Dolores (Peter Sutherland), Peter (Josie Hannon), Nancy (Don Barry), Patrick (Mary Downey), Dennis (Bridget Dober), Genevieve (Paul White), Christopher (Pam Phillips) and Celine (Darren Hynes - dec.); twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Phyllis Hunt (Ottawa) and a large number of relatives and friends. Visitations will take place at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on Saturday: 2:00 - 5:00 PM: 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Sunday: 2:00 - 5:00 PM: 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, Bay Roberts on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Special thanks to her dedicated caregivers Loretta Keefe, Judy Smith, Eileen Shea and Joan Wilson as well as staff of the Orthopedic and Surgical Units, Health Science Centre. No Flowers by request.
