1935 - 2014: It is with great sadness the family of the late Martin Edmund Sweetapple, Jr. ("Junior") of Glovertown, announce his passing at the HSC St. John's, NL May 27th, 2014, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Ada Sweetapple of Glovertown, sister Uldine Davis, and son-in-law Ford Dowden, left to mourn are his wife of 59 years, Evelyn (nee Smart); sisters Effie, Flossie, Bernice (Sam) and brother Graham (Shirley); Children - Lotus (Clarence), Walter (Cathy), Edna, Clifford (Gail), Ronald (Shirley), Sonia (Glenn), Vera (Paul), Leona (David); Grandchildren - Jennifer (Mervyn), Charlene (Bradley), Leon(Dawn), Marcus, Monique (Roman), Chad, Cassandra (Matthew), Mitchell, Tyler, Gregory, and Robert and six great grandchildren, as well as, a large extended family and close circle of friends. Funeral took place at the Glovertown Pentecostal Full Gospel Tabernacle on May 30th, 2014, with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
