BROWN, ROBERT - Robert John W. Brown passed away on June 13, 2014 at the Ridgewood Veterans Health Wing. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on September 6, 1922, he was a son of the late George Alfred and Helen (Gould) Brown. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Infantry and a World War II veteran. Robert lived most of his life on Fallsview Ave., moved to Brunswick Drive and then, in January 2013, he moved into the Ridgewood Veterans Wing. He is survived by his nieces, Margaret Brown; Karen Brown Elliot, and family; nephew, Kevin Brown, and family; and sister-in-law, Bernadette Brown. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Frederick and Carl Brown.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), visiting took place on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from 7 to 9 pm.
