Anne Florence (Tracey) Ogley, 82, of Stirling Road, Glace Bay, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Turnbull) Tracey.
Anne was a very caring and loving mother as well as a very spiritual lady.
Anne is survived by three sons, Joey, Tommy, Jimmy (Gail) and one daughter, Kathy (Brad) Gilbert, all of Glace Bay. Also surviving are Anne’s three brothers, John, Thomas ‘Bunny' (Colleen), Glace Bay, Pat, Ontario; one sister, Eileen (Gerald) Wareham, Ontario; 15 grandchildren, Kelly, Kim, Kary, Joseph, Joey, Sherry, Danny, Tommy (Terrie), Steven, Andrew, Amanda, Jimmy (Sue), John (Alison), Kary, Darlene (Matthew); 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great -grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Walter ‘Buster’ Ogley, four brothers, Joseph, Thomas ‘Jigger’, Michael, Martin, two sisters, Theresa, Mary, one grandson, Robbie and one great-grandson, J.C. James.
Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay, with Fr. Norman McPhee officiating. Interment to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy for Anne, memorial donations in her memory may be made to palliative care.
