At Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon, the peaceful passing of Mary Stewart (nee Bain), age 97, formerly of Flat River, devoted wife of the late Isaac Stewart, occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2014, with family by her side.
Born in Iris, P.E.I., January 22, 1917. Mary is survived by her loving children, Ray (Sadie) Stewart, Elroy Stewart and daughter-in-law, Helen Stewart; sister-in-law, Mae Stewart; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by a son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Julie Stewart; brothers, Wilfred, Adam, Henry; sisters, Annie, Frances and Jemima.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment to take place in the Wood Islands Cemetery.
