Dartmouth, N.S. - The third child of 10, born in Nappan, N.S., to Reverend Dr. Thomas Ewan McLennan and Helen Mae McLennan (nee Lavers).
There are many things that are significant about his 90 years and 3 months in this world, but what was most important to him was that he shared 62 years of marriage with Barbara Jean Margaret McLennan (nee Pickard) and his family, of which he was exceedingly proud, included six children: Bruce McLennan (Lorraine), Moira Fraser (John), Carol Farrell (Scott), Suzanne McLennan, Stuart McLennan (Susan), Barbara Baker (Jim); and 13 grandchildren, Ewan Fraser (Laura), Neil Fraser (Mary James), Bettina Gauthier-McLennan, Rory Fraser (Katrine), Jonathan Gauthier-McLennan, Samuel Gauthier-McLennan, James Fraser, Anna Farrell, Cameron McLennan, Mathilda Farrell, Catherine McLennan, Mary McLennan and Ian Baker.
At his request, remains have been donated to the Dalhousie Medical School. Remembrance services to be arranged at a later date.
