April 13, 1930 - June 16, 2014 - It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of James Francis Maddigan, a devoted, loving father and grandfather. Predeceased by his loving wife, Marion Mary Maddigan, 1999, parents: John and Catherine Maddigan, and siblings: Richard, Phillip, and Betty. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life, are his children: John and his wife Sheri, Catherine and her husband Scott, and children Scott and George, Suzanne and her husband Paul, Donna, and her children Dylan and Kia, and Barbara and her husband Kerry, and children Monika and Timothy, and siblings: Fr. John, Alice, and Ronald and wife Janet, sister-in-law Christine, and many nieces and nephews, including Judy and Bill, Bob and Janet, as well as Sadie, Loretta, Theresa and Bernie, Dorothy and Fred, Jose, Jerome and Madonna, and their families also many friends and neighbours. We would like to thank his medical team, Dr's R. Woodland, M. Furey , N. Duguid, and B. Reddy for their guidance, expertise, and kindness. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and Friday, June 20, 2014, from 2-4 pm only. Funeral mass held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:30 am, at Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kilbride.
