At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday June 17, 2014, Betty F. Watson of Summerside, aged 86 years. She was born in Malpeque on December 13, 1927, daughter of the late James and Cora (Mountain) MacKinnon. Wife of the late Charles F. Watson. Mother of Charles (Michou), Longueil, Quebec; Bill (Edna deceased), Calgary, Alberta; Fran (Garth) Bulman, Charlottetown; Bob (Lucie), Miscouche; Andy (Cathy), North Bay, Ontario and David (Joyce), Summerside. Grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Sister of Audrey Mountain, Baltic and Frances Woodside, Summerside. Sister-in-law of Vernon Watson, Charlottetown, Mae Clarke, Patricia Watson and Janet (Terry) Hannon all of Toronto, Ontario. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Janet Watson, brother Jim and his wife Phyllis MacKinnon, brothers-in-law Wallace Mountain and Earle Woodside. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where a public funeral service will be held in the Chapel Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
