Maxwell Thomas
We, the family of the late Maxwell Thomas wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who helped in any way to alleviate the sorrow caused by the death of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We gratefully acknowledge the thoughtfulness demonstrated through your gift of cards, messages, telephone calls, floral arrangements, food and donations in his memory. Also, those who attended the funeral home and funeral service. We wish to thank Dr. Awad, nursing staff on 3A and the Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care of Max during his stay at the hospital. To you all, go a very special thanks.
Thank you to his brother Mel for being there for us and supporting us all the way. Many thanks to family members who participated in the service. To niece Michelle Pope for the scripture reading, niece Lynn Ross for the beautiful poem, daughter Gail for the lovely tribute and Sylvia Fudge for the beautiful solo. Thank you to the pallbearers, grandsons Troy and Matthew Thomas, nephews Larry Thomas, Rodney Penney, Monty and Brian Earle.
Much appreciation to the ladies of the church for providing a lovely lunch for our family and friends after the service.
Our sincere thanks to Majors Frank and Jean Johnson for conducting such a beautiful and meaningful service and to Wally Warren for providing the music. Our thanks also to Major Ray Janes for his visits to the hospital although he could not be with us at this time but we know his thoughts and prayers were with us.
To Keith and his staff at Fillatre’s Funeral Home words cannot express our thanks to you all for your compassion, care and concern. It was deeply appreciated. Although we cannot say thank you to everyone individually we want to say we remember every act of kindness, every word of encouragement. You made things a little easier for us. We shall not soon forget.
Wife Clara, children: Gail, Linda,
Paul, Monty and their families.
