MORRISON, ALWILDA - Alwilda Mae Morrison passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born May 14, 1921 in Sussex, NB, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Mary (Carson) Thorne. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Claude Alexander Boyce; brothers, Vernon, Ira and Curtis Thorne. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lyons; grandchildren, Blaine Lyons, Deanne Maher (Lou) and Craig Lyons (Wanda); great-grandchildren, Zachery and Amber Lyons and Jacob and Matthew Maher; brother, Raymond Thorne (Carol) of Moncton; sister, Lorraine Adams (Robert) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
