Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 20, 2014. Hubert Goulding, age 71. Predeceased by his darling daughter Rhonda Goulding; parents Jacob "Bish" and Hilda Mae; parents-in-law Frances and Kit Boland; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Helen Goulding; sister and brother-in-law Ruby and Giovanni Rosa Bian. Left with fond and loving memories are his son Hubert Jr "Buck" (Ann Marie and girls Emily and Sydney); daughters Wanda (Roger Young) with who he resided, and Kimberly; his grandchildren who he adored Nicole (Jamie) and Kyle; two special great-grandchildren Mitchell and Madison; also left with fond memories his son-in-laws parents Robert and Bride Young; special nieces and nephews Paula, Carla, Joe and Larry with whom he worked. Dad was also considered a brother and loved by all his in-laws originally from Calvert: Emma (John White), Molly Embanks, Marg and Bill Reddy, Frances Boland, Terry Boland, Edna Boland, Rick and Brenda Harvey and Jim Harvey; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and many others whom he met over the years working at construction. The family wishes to say a special thanks to the nurses and staff of 4th , 5th and 7th floor east at St. Clare's for taking such good care of dad over the past few weeks. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd, on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Caul's Chapel on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. At Hubert's request, cremation will follow and a private inurnment will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
