Passed peacefully away shortly after celebrating her 90th birthday, (Marjorie) Christine Maddigan (nee Crummey) of St. John's, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her husband, Philip; parents Winnifred (nee March) and Richard Crummey; sister Vera Bate; and brother Bert Crummey. Leaving to mourn daughter Joy Maddigan (Larry Johnson) and family with whom she resided; son Richard (Judy); daughters Jill, Jane Gamberg (Ted), and Beth (Robert Pound); eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a circle of family and friends. Christine enjoyed a long life, celebrating fifty-six years with her devoted husband, Philip, at the time of his death in 2007. At her request cremation has taken place at Carnell's Funeral Home. Following a private interment, family and close friends will gather to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 26th at 3:00pm at her residence.
