Neil Parker Campbell, died peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, with his loving wife Janet by his side.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Duncan and Mary (McKinnon) Campbell.
Parker enjoyed playing around with cars, was also a hardworking loving man and loved Lake Ainslie and Inverness. Parker is gone home to join Brian.
Besides his wife, Janet, he is survived his son, Tony (Dana), Halifax; daughter, Jennifer (Ricky) McKinnon, New Waterford; sisters, Marleen Abraham, New Waterford and Betty Murrin, North Sydney; his favourite pals his dog Romeo and cat Mini-max.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Brian.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 30 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue, with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Army, Navy & Air Force, Smith Street., New Waterford. All are welcome.
