
Laurie Arsenault
ARSENAULT, LAURIE - Laurie Joseph Arsenault of Saint John, NB passed away on June 24, 2014 at the age of 89. Laurie was born on November 26, 1924 in Saint John, where he grew up and married his wife, Jeanette M. (Guimond) in 1945. They were together for 54 years until she passed in 1999. Laurie and Jeanette gave birth to their first child, Norman in 1945, then to Claudette (Little) in 1947, followed by Dianne in 1958. Laurie was well-known around Saint John as the owner of Laurie's Enterprise, formally located on Prince Edward Street in the uptown area. He was the man who disappeared behind the pile of hydraulic parts and came back five minutes later with exactly what you were looking for. Laurie is survived by his three children, Norman, Claudette and Dianne. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Val Hazelton (Bill), Claudette Hilgardner, Rita Chosen and Roger Arsenault. A special thank you to all the staff at Kennebec Manor for their support and care during his stay there.
