Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, June 26, 2014. Leonard P. Costello, age 66 years of Labrador City, Labrador, formerly of Avondale. Predeceased by his parents Catherine (Kitty) and Otto Costello and nephew Christopher M. Fewer. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Patricia (nee Penney); one sister Violet Smith (Joe) of Avondale; brother Stephen of Philadelphia P.A.; 2 nieces Katie Fewer and Amy Costello; 4 nephews Des, Steve (Anita) and Rodney (Charlene) Fewer and Lenny Costello; stepchildren Duane Rose and family, Carl Rose and family and Sherri Rose and family. As well as a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment to follow in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
