There were so many others. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on July 1, 2014 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a farewell service on July 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at George Street United Church. Inurnment will occur privately at a later date. Brenda was a great lover of Nature in all its forms and was quite concerned about the Environment. She believed in doing what one could to enhance the lives of others in need, young and old, here and afar, and requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to charities of one's choice or to George Street United Church, Plan International, Engineers Without Borders Canada, or to organizations directed at responsible land stewardship.

"When all is said and done, at the end of the day, it's all about family and those special people who made life a pleasure and helped you achieve something that you could share with others."
